11 FEMALE OFFICIALS REPRESENT USA AND 8 REPRESENT CANADA AT INTERNATIONAL EVENTS

We hear about the very talented and skilled players that are selected to be part of our National teams. However, there is a third team on the ice that we rarely hear about. The officials. We want to personally congratulate all the female officials that were selected to work international games this year.

"We are incredibly proud of these officials and look forward to watching them represent USA Hockey in their respective tournaments," said Matt Leaf, director of USA Hockey's officiating education program. "They have all worked tirelessly to reach this level of officiating excellence and these appointments are testament to their commitment to officiating."
