The Quarry Cats Girls Ice Hockey Organization is currently looking for Developmental, U 14 & U 19 girls who are interested in becoming Quarry Cats for the 2009-2010 season. Quarry Cats PROUDLY INTRODUCES GIRLS’ Developmental Hockey
Looking for House and Developmental Players or girls with no prior playing experience necessary for our Developmental Team. ( Ages 6 to 12) One team practice on Thursday (Half ice) Per Week (Start Date November 19, 2009) One Hockey Developmental Class on Monday Per Week (Start Date October 5, 2009) Ten Game Schedule Fee: $850 Includes Jersey, Hockey Socks and Warm Up Suit.http://www.quarrycatsgirls.com/

That's a LOT of money for only 10 ice times! Especially half ice! How about 495.00 for 33 games, plus practices? And we complain about the price of hockey! Those are 1.5 hour games, by the way!
