The games this week in Vancouver have been exciting and revealing. We're getting to know the players and the teams' strengths and weaknesses. With only 158 days to go before the Olympics, the teams are sizing each other up and forming plans to use the next few months to train accordingly.
As in the past, the rivalry between the US and Canada team is almost palpable. The night games are drawing close to 7000 fans; pretty much all Canadian, and they are fired up. So far the US beat Canada in their round robin play and they both won their pre-lim games to face each other again in the gold medal final game today. If this is a glimpse of how the Olympics will be - bring it on! Great hockey and great rivalrys. Here's how they ranked after the pre-lims.
