I have a 12 year old daughter. If she were to play hockey, I think my father would need an
Angioplasty. However, I think the sport would be good for her. She says that the locker room needs a
Filtrete filter to clean out some of the body order.
How do you guys handle family memb…

woot woot! Although it was a harder game against the Massachusetts Lady Flames, Taylor Steadman was able to put the puck in the net in the third period to net our 1-0 lead. After the game, both teams got medals for coming in first and second place, and for our picture, we all piled on top of eachother with our tr…

Last night we defeated the New Jersey Quarry Cats 8-0, and my friend Rachel Colvin was playing for them; she had been on my team for NEWHL this past summer. I had two goals, and the other scorers were Chelsea, Gretchen, Fredee, Taylor with two, and Zoey Bailey added a goal. It was by far our best game of the w…

This morning we had to wake up early, like around six, and play the Massachusetts Lady Flames, who we defeated last night. We won 4-0; I scored, Taylor Steadman scored, Mckenna Hayes scored, and Fredee Lalonde scored. It was Fredee's first goal for The Stars. She is from Canada and will be playing with me on m…

Today we came to Marlboro, Massachusetts for a hockey tournament. Us (the Vermont Stars), the New Jersey Quarry Cats, and the Massachusetts Lady Flames in our U16 bracket. On our way there, my dad stopped at Target and gave us each three dollars to buy something completely pointless. Chelsea, who came with us for the weekend, and I both agreed on buying these purple monster hand puppets, which you will see as soon as I can load the picture are completely pointless, haha(:
When we got to the rink…

Last weekend, the Rice hockey season pretty much began. We had tryouts in Morrisville, a little town outside of Stowe, Vermont. We had try-outs for U16 split season, and if you're playing for the Rice Team, you're automatically on the team. Tonight, we have our kick off practice, and I can't wait! A lot of my teammates from last season are on this team, along with a girl from Quebec, Fredee, and a girl who played for the Czech National Team, Jana. Also, some players who didn't play on my team la…

June 29, 2009:
On a rainy night in June at Gutterson Fieldhouse in South Burlington, Vermont, a group of select boys and girls hockey players gathered to showcase their talent. All of these players had just finished their senior years of high school, and had been selected by their states as top notch hockey stars. That night, the players from Vermont and New Hampshire were participating in a skills challenge; the next day a girl's game, then a boy's game would take place, all to benefit the Make…

is going pretty well so far! It's a lot of fun!
I'm on Team New England for it,
and so far, it's only the second day of it!
Last night, we had a team practice with the Mass. Public/Catholic Team,
and we beat them in a scrimmage!
Today, we played two of the toughest teams,
Minnesota and; Boston Prep,
and lost both games.
Minnesota ended up winning 10-1,
& Boston Prep won 3-1.
It's been great so far,
and I'll keep you updated! (:
Hey, again! Haha,
on Tuesday, we played the Boston Shamrocks,
a…

Hi All,
I had a quick question. I am not sure if anyone would know but just finished open try outs in Boston for the Olympic Team and made it to the second round. Initially 100 people tried out and cut half after first round. I felt over all had a strong try out. At the end of the tryout everyone was informed that they had to discuss with other USA hockey coaches in Minesota because another tryout was going on and would know more in a week. Any idea how many people from Boston and Minesota wil…
